I don't like the way the entranceway peak follows up to the second floor roof peak all the way to the left like that. The house looks lopsided because of it.
My $0.02
That was my sentiment as well $0.02 I guess it allowed them to put another room up there, but dont asthetics count for anything?
BTW -- im glad you enjoyed the comedy routine between myself and Contrarian the other day. It was pretty hysterical!
Agreed about the house
I agree it's ugly, but then, there are a lot of ugly houses around (especially those with additions that haven't been well-integrated with the rest of the house). I'm always amazed when I see people paying $1 mill. for houses with slapped on additions.
I know builders are trying to get away from the same designs, and I don't mind creativity, but such an asymmetrical look is jarring.
This house is brand-new, and the community with the lake is nice -- seems a pity.
Hopefully no one will pick the elevation.

I agree, looks pretty ugly. Especially with the pipe out the top being very viisble like that. they should have made the part over the garage out to the front of the garage and not peaked like that.
