Its nice to finally be getting a lot more redfin updates. It seems like over the last couple of weeks I am getting 2+ times as many as during the heart of the winter.
hb,
Did you see their note about including failed Courthouse foreclosures as "pre-list" without a price (since they haven't been listed yet).?
The comment said that this would increase reo alerts by 700% and clue people in on "shadow" inventory.
I think MM had pointed out this house on N 2nd St in Boulevard Manor about a month ago. It went under contract within a few days of being listed. It just sold for $20k above list, no subsidies.

No I hadn't noticed that, although it seems like an interesting/good idea.

i saw the note about the redfin listing shadow inventory but i can't make it work either there are no foreclosures or it isn't populated

I haven't decided, there are a couple I might go to. Houses I probably don't want, but would be useful to have seen so I can use the prices they end up selling for if I end up buying near them. It will probably depend on the whether, they are in an area where I jog, so if the whether is good I may take a quick peak.
Are you planning on starting the open house search yet? Have you determined when you are planning on buying or are you still in a bit of a holding period looking for the right house?

HB, I keep an eye on things but haven't seen anything interesting.
