DEEElusions? Poor broker relationship? Somewhere along the line a broker should have told that homeowner to look at her assessed value and go look at her competition.
Seller needs an HGTV "Real Estate Intervention."
MM - what'd they do with the tax numbers to keep the DOMp from showing up correctly?

I agree with you they are likely no permabears. If you are creating an index you really should have no bias in where you think/want the market to go.
Although there comments are bearish about the rest of the winter. They basically said that prices already gave back all of the gains from the tax credit and usually winter is the weakest time for the house market.
So I will be surprised if we don't see CS fall the entire winter and hit the low to mid 170s before next spring
FranklyMLS talks about "fudging" DOMp here. Guess the realtor figures the commission is worth the risk of the fine!
