Are you seeing any sort of discounts off of list in Arlington at all or same house sales with any big %?
It's looking like the I-95 corridor is getting slammed (Prince William and Stafford both showing massive % upticks in foreclosure) while the close-in suburbs and I-66 corridor is slightly better off.
txwoof,
I've been mainly following Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties. I hope to update something on Arlington soon. But no, I don't think it's as dramatic as the outlying counties.
There is simply a lot of overbuilding (in Prince William especially, with all of its buildable land), whereas the inner suburbs have been filled in over the years. Condos are a slightly different matter, however, and there might be some losses there.
