I was just at HBL/Tysons Mercedes Benz dropping a car off for service. Two years ago it would have been a line. Tonight it was three cars.
I called for an appointment and the women said anytime was good. This was not the usual routine.
Home equity drying up?
That does seem quite possible.
Here's another theory - maybe people are buying Toyotas :-)
A relative of mine just traded in his Mercedes for a Toyota Avalon - regrets the great service he had from the Mercedes service center, but likes the new car.
